Rehabilitation and Mobilization:Historical Review of the Literacy Education in Xingguo County in the Central Soviet Area Period
During the period of the Central Soviet Area,the Communist Party of China carried out a number of large-scale social transformation campaigns in Xingguo County,of which literacy education was an important part.In order to successfully promote literacy education,Xingguo County,in accordance with the regulations promulgated by the Provisional Central Govern-ment of the Chinese Soviet Republic,established streamlined and efficient literacy institutions,effectively addressed the problem of insufficient literacy teachers,and utilized diverse forms of education,thus leading to significant gains in literacy education in Xingguo County.This played a positive role in improving the cultural level and political consciousness of the people in Xingguo County and developing various undertakings in the Soviet area.However,due to the harsh war environment and limited resources at that time,the continuity and stability of literacy education in Xingguo County were greatly disrupted,resulting in certain limi-tations.
