A case of Stroke in young people with moyamoya disease and patent foramen ovale
Objective The risk factors of stroke in young adults were explored by analyzing the clinical data of a young man with moyamoya disease(MMD)complicated with patent foramen ovale(PFO).Methods Based on the clinical manifestations,diagnosis and treatment of a young stroke patient with MMD complicated with PFO,the pathogenesis of MMD and PFO in ischemic stroke,as well as the etiology and risk factors of stroke in young people were analyzed.Results PFO and MMD are major risk factors for stroke in young adults.Conclusion MMD and PFO are both major risk factors for stroke in young people,and co-occurrence in the same patient is rare,so identifying the cause can help treat stroke in young people and achieve a better prognosis.
