Driving Mechanisms and Influencing Factors of Mobile Phone Industry Chain Shifting from China to India
In recent years, the Indian government has actively responded to the"De Sinicization"plan of the industrial chain proposed by some countries while implementing the"Made in India"strategy.A series of measures have been implemented to encourage the development of the manufacturing industry, especially in the fields of electronics and mobile phone manufacturing,by undertaking large-scale industrial transfers.Apple,Xiaomi,OPPO,vivo and other mobile phone companies have successively built factories in India. The research results indicate that India's low labor and land costs attract the mobile phone industry chain to shift from China to India.India's favorable tax policies have a positive impact on the profits and profitability of mobile phone companies. From the perspective of the factors influencing the transfer of the mobile phone industry chain from China to India, land costs have the greatest impact, followed by tax policies, and manufacturing costs have the smallest impact.China should increase land supply, increase investment in environmental governance and technological innovation, increase policy support, broaden tax incentives and exemptions, increase raw material supply, optimize labor market structure, etc. To enhance the resilience of the mobile phone supply chain and strengthen the competitiveness of the mobile phone industry chain.
