Decade of"Belt and Road"Co-construction:A Comprehensive Review and Strategic Enhancement of China-South Asia Poverty Alleviation Cooperation
The"China-South Asia Cooperation on Poverty Alleviation"represents a comprehensive framework encompassing bilateral and multilateral endeavors across economic, humanitarian, disaster mitigation, and other targeted sectors, aligned with the"Belt and Road"Initiative. This collaboration is steered by a robust institutional architecture, featuring high-level mutual trust, strategic planning at the top tier,sector-specific implementation, and direct communication channels, all aimed at fostering poverty alleviation in South Asia.Although"China-South Asia Cooperation on Poverty Alleviation"has yielded significant outcomes, several practical challenges remain. The mechanisms for cooperative poverty reduction must be refined, economic and trade ties need to be bolstered, and issues such as conflicts, corruption, and inadequate governance persist.Additionally, the international landscape is marked by complexity and unpredictability. In light of this,China should refine its strategic approach by upholding the guidance of the Head of State in diplomatic affairs, establishing robust mechanisms for poverty reduction cooperation, and enhancing economic and trade relations. It should also vigorously support livelihood initiatives and bolster regional security collaboration. These efforts aim to advance the poverty alleviation agenda in South Asian countries and ensure the high-quality development of the"Belt and Road"initiative, ushering in a new era of shared prosperity and progress.
