Research on Cross Domain Cooperation Paths between University Libraries and Public Cultural Service Systems Based on SWOT Analysis
[Purpose/Significance]Explore the role and position of university libraries in the public cultural service system,find suitable development paths for university libraries to participate in the construction of the public cultural service system,promote the improvement of public cultural services,as well as the social development.[Methods/Processes]This article used literature review and online survey methods to study the current development status of university libraries in China,and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages as well as opportunities and challenges of integrating university libraries into the public cultural service system,and provided corresponding strategies based on actual situations.[Results/Conclusions]When participating in the construction of the public cultural service system,university libraries should strengthen cross domain cooperation and resource optimization integration,formulate development plans,promote conceptual changes,enhance innovation capabilities,and improve service quality.The government should encourage university libraries to participate in the construction of the public cultural service system from the aspects of policy system,funding investment,organizational coordination,and publicity guidance,effectively promoting the good development of university libraries.
