The Influence of Star Authors on Academic Papers in Co-Authorship Network——A Case Study of Literature in the Field of "Graphic"
[Purpose/significance]In the context of the globalization of science and technology, scientific research cooperation has been widely recognized as the most effective way to produce innovation. However, when considering the differences in the scientific re-search level of the partners, the specific influence of"star authors"on co-authored papers needs to be further explored.[Method/pro-cess]This study took co-authored papers in journals in the field of"Library and Information"from 2017 to 2021 as the object,con-structed a co-authorship network, and used social network analysis to evaluate the academic influence of co-authoring network and H-index to comprehensively identify star authors.Combined with the theory of knowledge recombination, the co-authored paper is di-vided into two dimensions of influence and innovation, and the specific influence of star authors on these two output dimensions is studied.[Result/conclusion]Based on the dimensional analysis of co-authored papers,it is found that the influence of star authors on co-authored papers has a significant positive impact and a significant negative impact on innovation, but this negative effect is not large. Therefore,it is also crucial to position the star authors,to give full play to their role, while also considering the innovative needs of the entire team.[Innovation/limitation]Social network analysis is used to determine star authors comprehensively, and the influence of star authors on academic papers is judged based on the two dimensions of influence and innovation,so as to have a deeper under-standing of star authors.
