Influencing Factors of Self-Disclosure Intention of Health Anxiety:——Taking College Social Network Users as an Example
[Purpose/significance]This paper studied the influencing factors of self-disclosure intention of health anxiety among col-lege student as social network users.It contributes to the field of health information disclosure.It provides references to improve the in-formation service quality of mental health information service providers and social network platforms so that health anxiety can be alle-viated.[Method/process]Using the qualitative research method,it conducted the semi-structured interviews of 20 college social net-work users with health anxiety.The interview data were coded and analyzed by employing the grounded theory.The extracted influenc-ing factors of willingness were combined with the literature review to construct a conceptual model.Then the questionnaire survey was employed.Hierarchical regression analysis was performed to test the proposed hypotheses.[Result/conclusion]For college students as social network users,the degree of trust,perceived benefits and health anxiety level all positively affect the self-disclosure intention of health anxiety,and the perceived risk negatively affects the intention.The level of parental health anxiety information disclosure positively moderates the relationship between perceived benefits and the self-disclosure intention.The countermeasures and sugges-tions were put forward.[Innovation/limitation]This paper reveals the influencing factors and mechanisms of the self-disclosure inten-tion of health anxiety.However,the study was mainly conducted in the previous prevention and control phase of COVID-19.It did not explore the changes in the self-disclosure intention of health anxiety after transitioning to the normalized phase.
