The Scale of User s Knowledge Hiding Behavior in Social Q&A Community
[Purpose/significance]The establishment of the scale for measuring users'knowledge hiding behavior in social Q&A com-munities can clarify the connotation and structural dimensions of users'knowledge hiding behavior,providing reference for construct-ing high-quality knowledge communities.[Method/process]Based on literature review and the three-dimensional model of classic knowledge hiding measurement,the initial scale for measuring users'knowledge hiding behavior was developed through questionnaire interviews and expert consultations.Exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to test and revise the struc-ture of the scale,resulting in the formal scale for measuring users'knowledge hiding behavior.[Result/conclusion]The scale consists of five dimensions:Pretending to Hide,Avoidance Hiding,Reasonable Hiding,Strategic Hiding,and Counter-Question Hiding.Each dimension contains multiple specific measurement items,which can comprehensively measure users'knowledge hiding behavior in so-cial Q&A communities,covering multiple aspects of motivation and behavior in knowledge hiding.[innovation/limitation]This scale has undergone a complete development process and has been quantitatively tested and validated using statistical methods,demonstrat-ing good discriminant validity,reliability,and validity.It can serve as a reliable self-assessment tool for measuring users'knowledge hiding behavior in social Q&A communities.
