The Influence Mechanism of Government Data Governance on the Data Quality Manage-ment Performance in H City:An Exploratory Research Based on Grounded Theory
[Purpose/significance]Data quality management helps to solve data quality problem from the starting point.The govern-ment data governance is an important driving force for the data quality management.This paper studies the influences mechanism of government data governance on data quality management performance,which is conducive to promoting the improvement of govern-ment data quality management capabilities and improving the data quality assurance system.[Method/process]From the perspective of government data governance,using grounded theory research method and selecting the data governance practice in H municipal gov-ernment as the study object,this paper studies the government data governance behavior and its mechanism affecting the data quality management.[Result/conclusion]It is found that the top-down supporting of governance subject,the full period controlling of key link and the inclusive inputting of basic element can promote the data quality management effectively;the interaction between the three has an impact on data quality management performance;data source credit has moderating effect between governance subject supporting and data quality management performance.In summary this study enriches the connotation and boundary of government data gover-nance and provides reference for digital government construction and data quality management.[Innovation/limitation]Using grounded theory,this paper constructs an influences mechanism model of government data governance affecting the data quality management.However,the research conclusion needs to be tested in practice by obtaining more dimensional and all-sided subjective and objective empirical data.In the future,we can also consider analyzing data through questionnaire survey.
