The Knowledge Map Model of the List of Chinese Documentary Heritage
[Purpose/significance]The knowledge map model is designed for the List of Chinese Documentary Heritage to realize the integration and sharing of Chinese documentary heritage resources,provide knowledge navigation,establish the connection between us-ers and knowledge,serve the research and development of documentary heritage,and create conditions for knowledge mining and dis-covery.[Method/process]Based on cartographic theory and the utilization needs of the List of Chinese Documentary Heritage,the knowledge map model of the List is designed and its functions and values are elaborated.[Result/conclusion]The knowledge map model designed in this paper can provide both ideas for the conservation and management of documentary heritage in the List,and ref-erences for the utilization and development of documentary heritage in the List.[Innovation/limitation]This study combines the theory of cartography and the characteristics of documentary heritage resources to design a knowledge map model,which provides the naviga-tion of documentary heritage content and diversified knowledge transfer methods,and establishes the connection between users and knowledge sources.However,the model is currently constructed only at the theoretical level,and further practical verification is needed.
