The vehicle noise inside the car affects the experience of riding comfort and gear noise is an important form of vehicle noise.Therefore,research on gear noise is of great value to reduce vehicle noise.The mechanism of gear noise is analyzed and the non-ideal meshing of gear is the main cause of gear noise.The principle and measuring method of test are described.The order noise level of different gear position of the automated transmission under the test bench environment is analyzed using DS2000 data analysis system.It is an effective method to analyze the gear noise and can be used to point out the improvement direction for reducing the gear noise of automated transmission.
