Application of Design of Experiment(DOE)in Aluminum Alloy Heat Treatment Process
Many cases of aluminum alloy failure, such as cracking, abnormal operation noise, and poor curvature are mostly related to the hardness and mechanical properties. To effectivelg delay or avoid the failure of aluminum alloys, this paper applies the Experimental Design(DOE)tool to study the hardness effect of aluminum alloy guide rails after aging treatment, clarifies the relationship between aluminum alloy guide rail hardness and aging temperature, establishes a full factor experimental design plan, and determines the significant factors affecting aging hardness through optimized combination of experimental data. The optimal design parameters suitable for early quality development are found.
