Analysis and Summary of K-REACH Investigation of a Geely Vehicle Project
The trend of globalization is intensifying,affecting various industries around the world.Domestic automotive companies have successively introduced globalization strategies aimed at expanding their business scope.Avoiding compliance issues should be one of the key considerations for product exports.When exporting auto parts to South Korea,it is necessary to deal with its regulations on prohibited and restricted substances.Among them,the Act on the Registration and Evaluation,etc.of Chemical Substances in South Korea(K-REACH)is based on the Regulation on the registration,evaluation,authorisation and restriction of chemicals in European Union(EU-REACH)regulatory concept,which controls chemical substances and downstream products.Based on the experience of K-REACH investigation of a certain vehicle project of Geely,introduces,analyzes and summarizes the investigation plan and results,and puts forward suggestions for long-term compliance of the act on registration and evaluation,etc.of chemicals(K-REACH)for automotive company.
