Research on influencing factors and mechanism of tourism destination innovation——taking Wuzhen for example
With the increasingly fierce competition in the tourism markets and the ever-evolving needs of tourist,tourism destinations can only keep their leading position in the competition by innovating continuously.Starting from innovation diffusion theory,qualitative meta-analysis is used to summarize the existing research results on tourism destination innovation,and extracts seven anthems(resource development,concept innovation product upgrading,market cultivation,industry transformation,support system and service ecosystem)and one intermediary transmission factor(innovations diffusion)effecting destination innovation are extracted.And taking Wuzhen as an example,SEM model is used to quantitatively test the influence mechanism of destination innovation.The results show that resource development,concept innovation,product upgrading,market cultivation and industry transformation have significant positive effects on destination innovation,and innovation diffusion has a significant intermediary effect in the above relationships.Therefore,it is necessary to develop tourism resources innovatively,implement new development concepts,upgrade creative tourism products,continue to make market breakthoughs,and actively embrace new tourism formats to help China's tourism destinations carry out innovative practices and sustainable development.
