The impact of digital economy on high-quality urban development and its spatial spillover effects——taking the Yangtze River Delta region as an example
With the development of the new generation of information technology,digital technology is widely applied in various fields of a city,bring new opportunities for the realization of high-quality urban development in China.Taking 41 prefecture-level cities in the Yangtze River Delta region from 2011 to 2021 as the research object,the fixed effect model and threshold regression model are used to analyze the impact of digital economy on high-quality urban development,and the spatial spillover effect of digital economy on high-quality urban development is analyzed by using the spatial Durbin model digital economy.It is found that digital economy promotes high-quality urban development,and the promotion effect of digital economy on high-quality urban development is affected by the threshold effect of industrial structure and urbanization rate,and digital economy can drive high-quality urban development in neighboring areas.Therefore,the Yangtze River Delta region needs to accelerate the construction of digital economic infrastructure,improve the development level of digital economy,and promote high-quality urban development.
