A review of research on Gu Yanwu in Chinese academic circles in the past decade
In the past ten years,the Chinese academic circle has produced a batch of new academic achievements around Gu Yanwu's life and social relations,the version and dissemination of his writings,the method and academic thought of research,the social practice and the thought of social governance,and the academic evaluation and historical status.The academic circles have investigated Gu Yanwu's academic life and life with diversified research methods and perspectives,and the study of"Gu Yanwu's research"has become a beautiful scenery in the study of the academic history of Qing Dynasty.However,we should also see that there is a tendency of research on Gu Yanwu to emphasize"learning"over"doing".So besides his Confucian thought,ritual practice and other important works such as Rizhilu,his other works also need to be further explored.
