Study on the structural characteristics and driving mechanism of logistics networks in Chinese logistics hub cities
National logistics hubs are the core infrastructure of the logistics industry.Accurately portraying the level of logistics system development and the evolution characteristics of the associated network of cities that host national logistics hubs can help promote the high-quality development of China's logistics industry. Therefore, this study adopts the social network analysis method to reveal the topological characteristics of the logistics associated network of the cities hosting national logistics hubs, and uses the quadratic assignment procedure to identify the driving factors. The results show that:1.The logistics development level of hub cities shows a stepwise decreasing pattern from coastal areas to inland areas, and the difference is obvious, there is an obvious"Matthew effect".2.There are a large number of"weak relationships"in the logistics related network, with low logistics connection strength and obvious network aggregation phenomenon. The stability of different agglomerated subgroups varies.3.Factors,such as the level of urban economic development, industrial structure, spatial proximity, and the level of logistics operation, contribute to the formation of related networks, while government policies and social consumption inhibit the formation of logistics network.Eliminating regional barriers, expanding external channels and paying attention to the comprehensive influence of many factors can help enhance the competitiveness of logistics hub cities, thereby promoting the construction of modern logistics hub network systems.
