Influencing Factors and Mechanism of High Permeability Aromatic Polyamide Reverse Osmosis Membrane
With the popularization and widespread application of reverse osmosis membranes, improving their permeation performance has become an urgent pursuit nowadays. To further improve the separation performance and surface morphology of aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membranes with m-phenylenediamine(MPD)and trimesoyl chloride(TMC)as re-action monomers, this paper investigates the aqueous phase infiltration time, oil phase reac-tion time, heat treatment temperature and time, the addition amounts of MPD and TMC,and the addition amount of dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO)to obtain highly permeable aromatic polyamide reverse osmosis membranes with homogeneous morphology. The aromatic poly-amide reverse osmosis membranes were tested by performance evaluation, scanning electron microscopy(SEM)and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR).The results showed that the reverse osmosis membranes obtained by improving the process parameters have good permeation performance, separation performance and surface morphology.
