Density,Viscosity and Hydrogen Sulfide Solubility of[A336]FeCl4 Ionic Liquid
The ionic liquid density and viscosity of the iron-based ionic liquid[A336]FeCl4 layered with water were measured at temperatures ranging from 313.15 K to 358.15 K.Density and viscosity data were fitted using empirical correlations, and compared with practi-cal data. The hydrophobicity and viscosity reduction of[A336]FeCl4 iron-based ions are ben-eficial to the wet oxidative desulfurization process. The solubility of hydrogen sulfide in iron-based ionic liquid[A336]FeCl4 in the pressure range of 0-150 kPa were measured at 313.15,323.15,333.15 and 343.15 K,respectively. The solubility was fitted by RETM model. The correlation coefficient is greater than 0.99.The Henry's coefficient and the chemical equilibrium constant for the absorption of hydrogen sulfide by[A336]FeCl4 were obtained. This work provides a basis for further research on application of[A336]FeCl4 in gas desulfurization.
