Preparation and Corrosion Resistance of Polyaniline and Waterborne Polyurethane Composite Coating Film
Polyaniline particles were prepared from aniline(AN),dodecyl benzene sulfonic acid(DBSA)and ammonium persulfate(APS),and characterized by SEM、XRD and FT-IR method.Combined with polyethylene glycol(PEG600),diphenylmethane diisocyanate(MDI),dimethylol propionic acid(DMPA),N-methylpyrrolidone(NMP)and dibutyltin lauric acid(DBTDL),polyaniline/waterborne polyurethane composite films(PANI-WPU)were obtained, and its structure and properties were characterized by FT-IR spectrum. The influence of PANI content on the mechanical properties of the coating film was explored, and the water absorption, glossiness, electrochemical corrosion resistance, and acid and alkali resistance of the coating were investigated. The results show that the maximum tensile strength of polyaniline/waterborne polyurethane film can reach 23 MPa,the elongation can reach 1 012%,the pencil hardness is 5H,the flexibility is 2 mm,the impact resistance is 50 cm,the water absorption is 14.66%,and the glossiness can reach 99.9%at 60°.When the PANI content is 0.7%,it can improve the mechanical properties and glossiness of the com-posite film. When the PANI content is 0.7%,it can improve the mechanical properties, glossiness, and anti-corrosion performance of the composite film.According to the analysis of electrochemical polarization curves and impedance spectra, the corrosion inhibition effi-ciency of the waterborne polyurethane coating film with PANI can reach 99.74%.The PA-NI-WPU composite material with 0.7%content is coated on the tinplate with edge sealing, and it can be soaked in 10%H2SO4 and 10%NaOH solution for 90 d without peeling off the paint, which can play a very good acid and alkali resistance protection effect.
