Hydrothermal Preparation of Coral-like NiS/CdS/CDs Ternary Catalysts and Performance of Photocatalytic Water Splitting
Based on the synthesis of uniformly dispersed CDs,coral-like NiS/CdS/CDs terna-ry photocatalysts were prepared by hydrothermal method. The effects of the amount of CDs added and the ratio of NiS to CdS on the catalytic performance of NiS/CdS/CDs ternary cata-lysts were systematically studied. The photocatalysts were characterized by TEM,XRD,XPS and other techniques, and the photocatalyst activity was evaluated by the experiment of splitting water to hydrogen. The experimental results shown that the NiS/CdS/CDs three-way catalyst has better catalytic performance than pure CdS and NiS/CdS.When the added amount of CDs was 0.4 mL,the mass fractions of NiS and CDs were 46.75%and 52.05%,NiS/CdS/CDs had the highest catalytic performance(48 303.57 μmol·(h·g)-1,λ ≥420 nm). This was due to the synergistic effect of CDs,NiS,and CdS,which enhances the ab-sorption of visible light and suppresses the electron-hole recombination,so the performance of the NiS/CdS/CDs ternary catalyst is significantly improved.
