In order to ensure the simulation accuracy and improve the calculation efficiency of the finite element model of reinforced concrete shear wall, refined and simplified finite ele-ment models were established by using ABAQUS and OpenSEES to conduct the numerical simulation of the quasi-static test on a full-size reinforced concrete shear wall and compara-tively analyze the phenomenon, failure mode, crack development process, strain and hyster-etic performance. The results showed that on the premise of ensuring the simulation accura-cy,the ABAQUS refined model is in good agreement with the test phenomenon in terms of crack development process and wall damage, but the calculation time of the model is longer;the OpenSEES simplified model is in good agreement with the test results in terms of hyster-esis performance, with the error less than 5%,and the calculation efficiency is significantly improved.
