Experimental study on the interface properties of HB-FRP bonded concrete
The bonding effect of the interface between FRP and concrete is the key to external bonded FRP(EB-FRP),and the premature failure of the interface between FRP and con-crete will greatly reduce the utilization efficiency of FRP.Hybrid bonded FRP(HB-FRP)is used to restrain the premature stripping of FRP by mechanical anchorage and cementation. In order to clarify the influence of HB-FRP on the bonding properties of the interface,unidi-rectional shear tests of different anchoring forms were carried out,and the anchoring proper-ties of EB-FRP and HB-FRP were compared. The influence of different torques and the number of steel fasteners on the stripping load of HB-FRP specimens and on the utilization rate of FRP were analyzed. The experimental data were fitted based on the bond-slip model of HB-FRP composite, and the calculation model of interface stripping load of HB-FRP com-posite was verified by the test results. The results show that, compared with EB-FRP,the stripping load and the FRP utilization ratio of HB-FRP reinforced specimens are significantly increased, and increase with the increase of torque and the number of fasteners. The validity of the stripping load calculation model is verified, which can be used to calculate the strip-ping load at the interface of HB-FRP composite.
