Reforms of College English Teaching Based on Ecological Perspectives in Local Ethnic Areas
In order to improve college students'English proficiency level and develop their English integrated skills in a more effective and efficient way,researchers of the present study had constructed a Blending Teaching Models based on Ecological Affordance Theory and then have implemented them in teaching practice for one year.In addition,quasi-experimental,quantitative and qualitative research methods were adopted to investigate the effectiveness of the teaching implementations and explore positive factors of the generative effectiveness of Ecological Affordance.Data results of the study indicate that participants in experimental group acquired stronger autonomous learning ability and more significantly improved their college English learning proficiency than those in control group,because students in experimental group generated more positive affordance of Perception,Interpretation,and Action through the teacher's effective guide,management and supervision in term of the Ecological Blending Teaching Models.
