Analysis of Phenotypic Traits of Liquidambar formosana Leaves from Different Collection Sites
In order to understand the effects of environmental factors on the growth and adaptability of Liquidambar formosana in different collection sites, the correlation between phenotypic traits of L.for-mosana leaves and environmental factors in three collection sites was studied. The results showed that the coefficient of variation of phenotypic traits was 4.86%-38.29%,and the petiole length(PL),leaf length(LL),leaf width(LW),middle blade width(ML),leaf area(LA),leaf fresh weight(FW),dry weight(DW),leaf chlorophyll content(LCC),leaf nitrogen content(LNC),leaf shape index(LI),specific leaf area(SLA)coefficient and significant difference, indicating that the pheno-type indexes have better adaptability to the environment.Correlations among L.formosana phenotypic traits at different collection sites. The phenotypic traits of leaves are mainly affected by environmental factors such as longitude(E),latitude(N),altitude(ASL),soil index and temperature.
