Objective To analyze the value of different b value DWI combined with DCE-MRI in differential diagnosis of plasma cell mastitis(PCM)and breast cancer.Methods A retrospective collection was conducted on 32 PCM patients diagnosed by histopathological examination admit-ted to the hospital from February 2021 to July 2023,and their medical records were included in the PCM group.We collected 32 breast cancer patients diagnosed by histopathological examina-tion who were admitted to the hospital in the same period,and included their medical records into the breast cancer group.Both groups of patients underwent MRI diffusion-weighted imaging and dynamic contrast-enhanced examination,with complete imaging data.Observe the ADC value and DCE-MRI quantitative parameters[extravascular extracellular space volume percentage(Ve),rate constant(Kep),and transport constant(Ktrans)]of the two groups of patients with different b values of DWI,and analyze the differentiation between mass type PCM and breast cancer by the above indicators alone or in combination.Results The ADC value of breast cancer group b=400s/mm2,800s/mm2,1000s/mm2 was lower than that of PCM group(P＜0.05);The Kep and Ktrans values in breast cancer group were higher than those in PCM group(P＜0.05);The results showed that b=400s/mm2,800s/mm2,1000s/mm2,Kep,Ktrans,and com-bined AUC were all greater than 0.7,indicating certain diagnostic value.When the optimal threshold is reached,the best predictive value can be obtained.Conclusion DWI with different b values combined with DCE-MRI has a high sensitivity in the differential diagnosis between mass type PCM and breast cancer,and has a certain value in differential diagnosis.
