Long-term use of cisplatin can lead to the development of chronic kidney disease(CKD)in clinical patients.An appropriate animal model is urgently needed to simulate the clinical application of cisplatin.This paper reviews the research ad-vances in cisplatin-induced CKD in rodent models and the main factors affecting model construction.Hopefully,it will provide a theoretical basis for optimization of the model to study the mechanism and treatment of cisplatin-induced CKD.
