The New Interpretation of Mental Health Education:The Perspective of Education Efficacy
In the new era,improving mental health education efficacy will benefit this generation and many more.Mental health education efficacy refers to the ability of students,teachers,administrators,and schools to effectively achieve the goal of mental health education,which is an essential sign of the high-quality development of mental health education.Based on data from a survey of secondary voca-tional schools and universities,this paper begins with the topic of"education efficacy"and reinterprets the rich connotation of mental health education from the objectives,contents,and evaluation indexes,the educational implementation efficacy,and educational management efficacy of mental health educa-tion.Specifically,it points out that students are the first beneficiaries,teachers are the main contribu-tors,administrators are the core designers,and schools are the ultimate integrators.In a word,the persistent pursuit of mental health education efficacy should be the"original intention"and the theme of mental health education.Mental health educators should remain true to our original aspiration in order to keep our mission firmly in mind,forge ahead,and get twice the result with half the effort.
