Construction of Computer Public Basic Courses and Reflections on Education and Teaching in the AI Era
With the development of artificial intelligence technology,particularly generative AI tech-nology,it is imperative to reassess the roles of humans and machines,explore how to harness these technologies to empower education,and make them an important engine to promote educational reform,thereby co-creating new models for digital education.This article revisits the evolution of computer fun-damentals teaching in Chinese universities over the past three decades.Subsequently,the new demands for computer literacy education in the digital age are discussed.Through a case study of the computer fundamentals course at Tsinghua University,the practical implementation and outcomes of AI-enhanced teaching are analyzed,including the stimulation of students'learning interest and innovative thinking.The Tsinghua University course case not only showcases the innovative application of AI technology in teaching design but also reflects the role transition of educators in the face of AI technology,from traditional knowledge transmission to learning guidance,and collaborative teaching between teachers and AI teaching as-sistants.Facing with the challenges and opportunities presented by AI technology,the education community must continuously explore and adapt to promote the joint development of students and teachers.
