The Dilemma and Outlet of Public Morality Education from the Spatial Perspective
Public morality is the moral requirement of public space.Therefore,it is meaningful and valuable to analyze public morality education from the perspective of space,especially public space.Since the end of the Qing Dynasty,China began to attach importance to public morality education.Many schools adopted the"extrapolation of private morality"method to implement public morality edu-cation.However,such a method cannot effectively make private morality become public morality.Even worse,it makes people become egoists in"treating others as equals"and"treating others as oneself,"making society fall into a"differential order pattern."In order to implement public morality education effectively,it is necessary to carry out public morality education by"Activating the Private and Opening the Public"according to the law of public space consciousness germination.In order to execute public morality education entirely,we should pay attention to both negative and positive public morality edu-cation according to the law of public space consciousness generation.Of course,no matter what kind of public morality education is implemented,we should refuse to adopt the"extrapolation of private mo-rality"mode.
