How Do Teacher Resources in Higher Vocational Colleges Affect Graduates'Employment?——An Empirical Study Based on the Annual Data of Education Quality of 1090 Higher Vocational Colleges
Based on the annual data of the education quality of 1090 higher vocational colleges in 2022,this study empirically discussed the relationship between teacher resources and graduates'em-ployment results in higher vocational colleges.The findings are as follows:(1)the quantitative charac-teristics and professional titles of teacher resources in higher vocational colleges have limited effects on the employment results of graduates;(2)the practical characteristics of teacher resources,such as the proportion of"double-qualified"teachers and the number of part-time teachers in enterprises,have the most critical influence on the employment results of graduates;(3)the internationalization characteris-tics of teachers,such as the proportion of full-time teachers in foreign organizations,have no significant influence on the quantitative indicators of graduate employment but can predict the relevant indicators of graduate employment quality.Due to the relationship between teacher resources and graduates'em-ployment results in higher vocational colleges is heterogeneous in different regions and types of colle-ges,different higher vocational colleges should identify their comparative advantages of teacher re-sources,rationally allocate and flexibly use teacher resources to maximize the promotion of graduates'full and high-quality employment.
