Research on the Construction of Evaluation Indicator System to Assess the Effectiveness of Ethnic Tourism in Fostering the Sense of Chinese National Community
Ethnic tourism represents a pivotal means of fostering the sense of Chinese national community.It facilitates the construction of bridges and connections for inter-ethnic communication,interaction,and integration.To enhance the effectiveness and quality of ethnic tourism in fostering the sense of Chinese national community,it is necessary to scientifically construct an evaluation indicator system to assess the effectiveness of ethnic tourism in this regard.This indicator system will allow for a comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of ethnic tourism in fostering the sense of Chinese national community.Based on the theoretical logic of fostering the sense of Chinese national community through ethnic tourism,this study constructed an evaluation indicator system for the effectiveness of ethnic tourism in enhancing the community sense of the Chinese ethnic groups.The evaluation indicator system contains five dimensions of economic,social,cultural,psychological,and political.The evaluation indicator system comprises second-level indicators and 28 third-level indicators.Finally,the Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to determine the specific weight of each indicator.The weight results indicate that the weights of the five second-level indicators are as follows:Economic dimension(0.3363),Political dimension(0.2948),Social dimension(0.1336),Cultural dimension(0.1254),and Psychological dimension(0.1100).Among the 28 third-level indicators,the comprehensive weight of Enhancing National Identity is the highest,with a weight value of 0.1156.Following this are Promoting Regional Economic Growth and Facilitating Wealth Increase for the People,with comprehensive weight values of 0.0882 and 0.0867,respectively.This study can provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for evaluating the specific effectiveness of ethnic tourism in fostering the sense of Chinese national community,as well as harnessing the positive role of ethnic tourism in the construction of the Chinese national community.
