摘要
沈佺期弟沈全交及沈佺期长子沈子昌墓志的发现,为复原沈佺期曾祖以下五世部分家族成员的事迹及谱系提供了宝贵材料.曾祖沈纂,官至隋朝秘书正字.祖父沈德、父亲沈贞松皆为唐朝的地方县令,官阶在六品上下.沈佺期兄弟三人,本人居长,弟沈全交在长寿元年(692)至长安四年(704)之间得中进士,及第后解褐右率府骑曹,之后因受沈佺期仕途沉浮的影响,几度在县尉职间迁转,最终卒于望江县尉任上.沈佺期长子沈子昌长期淹滞下僚,花甲之年卒于上津县令任上.次子沈东美官至朔方郡太守,是史料所见该家族中除沈佺期外唯一一位高官,此后子孙事迹不详.沈佺期家族以文学传家,历四代至沈佺期时兴盛,与国家权力中心产生关联,但因缺乏底蕴,家族命运只能随着沈佺期的政坛起落而沉浮,在其死后因后继乏人而迅速衰落.沈佺期家族的兴衰轨迹为考察中古家族发展的轨迹提供了参考,对于此种昙花一现的"流星家族",墓志等石刻史料的利用是拓展相关研究的重要途径.
Abstract
The discovery of the gravestone inscriptions for Shen Quanqi's younger brother Shen Quanjiao and his eldest son Shen Zichang provides valuable resources for reconstructing the stories and genealogy of five generations of Shen Quanqi's ancestors,starting from Shen Zuan.The family excelled in literature and flourished under Shen Quanqi during the fourth generation.However,it declined after Shen Quanqi's death due to a lack of successors.The rise and fall of the Shen Quanqi family provides a reference for studying the trajectory of ancient Chinese family development.For such fleeting"meteoric families",the use of gravestone inscriptions and other stone records is an important way to expand related research.
