摘要
从企业微观视角出发,分析了企业ESG表现对就业水平的影响机制,提出了企业ESG表现可通过财务支持效应、技术创新效应及生产率效应对就业水平产生重要影响.在此基础上,基于2011-2021年中国A股上市公司的面板数据,采用固定效应模型对该影响机制进行了实证检验.研究发现,企业ESG表现的改善可以显著提升就业水平.调节效应表明,投资者关注度在ESG表现对就业水平的影响过程中发挥着正向调节作用,市场竞争程度进一步增强了ESG表现对就业水平的积极效应.进一步研究表明,成熟期企业、国有企业以及非重污染企业ESG表现的改善对就业水平的影响更为明显.
Abstract
From the micro perspective of enterprises,this paper analyzes the impact mechanism of enterprise ESG performance on employment level,and proposes that enterprise ESG performance can have an important impact on employment level through financial support effects,technological innovation effects,and productivity effects.On this foundation,based on panel data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2021,a fixed effects model was used to empirically test the impact mechanism.Research has found that improvements in corporate ESG performance can significantly enhance employment levels.The moderating effect indicates that investor attention plays a positive moderating role in the impact of ESG performance on employment levels,and market competition further enhances the positive effect of ESG performance on employment levels.Further research indicates that the improvement in ESG performance of mature enterprises,state-owned enterprises,and non heavy pollution enterprises has a more significant impact on employment levels.
