抗日战争时期美国援华救济联合会的助华工作
Research on United China Relief during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression

摘要
抗日战争时期,美国援华救济联合会发轫于民间援华组织的联合思想,在亨利·鲁斯的推动下成立.美国援华救济联合会不断完善组织运作方式,在加强中美救灾合作、募捐援华物资、输送助华物资、开展救济重建中发挥过重要作用,成为在美国发起的最大的民间援华组织.透过美国援华救济联合会的研究,可进一步认识其与美国红十字会、美国国务院中美关系文化项目以及联合国善后救济总署等救济援助的关系.
Abstract
During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression,United China Relief originated from the joint idea of non-governmental Chinese aid organizations and was founded under the impetus of Henry R.Luce.United China Relief continued to improve its organization and operation,and played an important role in strengthening cooperation between China and the United States in disaster relief,collecting and transporting aid materials to China,and carrying out relief and reconstruction projects.It eventually became the largest non-governmental organization to assist China in the United States during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.Through the research of United China Relief,we can further understand its relationship with American Red Cross,the United States Department of State's Cultural Relations Program,and other aid projects in China such as United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration.
