元结"君子观"述略——读《元次山集》

摘要
元结率性方直,秉心真纯,盖因坚守"君子"品格,方才铸就了其耿介拔俗的不凡人生.元结对"君子"品格的坚守,在他的诗文中多有表达.从元结诗文可以看出,他特别崇尚"忠直""方正"的君子品格,十分推崇"全直君子""清独君子""大雅君子".他的思想中虽然夹杂有"寥然顺命"的消极成分,他的君子观虽然没有超越先秦以来的儒家学者,然而,"其心古,其行古,其言古",知行合一,是当之无愧的真"君子".
Abstract
Yuan Jie was not only frank and straightforward,but also he conducted business impartially.Owning to the fact that he adhered to the principle of"gentleman"character,consequently he had just shaped his extraordinary life.Yuan Jie's adherence to the character of"gentleman"can be traced in many of his poems.It can be seen from Yuan Jie's poems and essays that he espoused the gentleman character of"faithfulness and uprightness"and"righteousness",and in the meantime he highly praised the"straight gentleman","pure gentleman"and"elegant gentleman".Although there were some negative elements of"few but obedient to life"in his thoughts,his view of a gentleman had not surpassed the Confucian scholars since the pre-Qin period.In a word,as his mind was ancient,so were his deeds and his words.Therefore,his knowledge and practice were unified,which is worthy of being a true"gentleman".
