As an important historical work recording the historical activities of ethnic minorities in the Wei,Jin,Northern and Southern dynasties,the process of its completion,deletion and addition has been fully discussed in the academic community,but the results of systematic research on the national biographies of the book have not yet been started.This paper studies the development of various ethnic groups in the Northern and Southern dynasties and the relationship between various ethnic groups and the regime of the Northern Dynasties recorded in the national biographies of the Northern History,clarifying the meaning of Chinese unification's unification of the Multinational state,and highlighting the important position of the Northern and Southern dynasties in History of China from the Ethnohistory narrative throughout The Northern History.
