Objective To explore the effect of role exchange teaching method in clinical teaching of neurology depart-ment.Methods Fifty interns in the Department of Neurology of Lishui People's Hospital from July 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the study objects and randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 25 in each group. The experimental group used the teacher-student role exchange teaching mode for clinical teaching. The control group received clinical teaching with traditional teaching mode. The two groups of students were compared in the examina-tion results of theory and clinical skills operation, and the teaching satisfaction questionnaire was carried out on the in-terns.Results The theoretical scores, total skill assessment scores, skill puncture process, and overall skill evaluation scores of the experimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statis-tically significant(t=5.96,9.14,7.08,4.70,P<0.05).However,there was no statistically significant difference in the scores of the two skill groups before operation(t=1.41,P>0.05).The satisfaction of the experimental group interns with teaching was also significantly higher than that of the control group(t=6.36,P<0.05).Conclusion The role exchange teaching method can improve the theoretical and practical skills of interns, and the clinical teaching effect is good and the satisfaction is high.
