Study and Analysis of Kalina Cycle Power Generation System Based on EBSILON Simulation
In order to realize the comprehensive evaluation of the economic transformation of internal combustion engine exhaust waste heat utilization system, based on EBSILON simulation software, the Kalina cycle power generation system was proposed to recover flue gas waste heat, and the energy saving potential of the waste heat recovery system was calculated. The performance of the two Kalina cycles was compared and analyzed. The results show that the efficiency of turbine and pump is 85%and 80%respectively under the design condition. When Kalina cycle deviates from the design condition, the performance of turbine and pump deteriorates. With the decrease of generator power, the efficiency of turbine and pump decreases. As the exhaust flow of the internal combustion engine increased from 60%to 100%,the thermal efficiency of the KCS-34 increased from 14.08%to 14.17%and then decreased to 13.49%,and the thermal efficiency of the BKCS increased from 12.29%to 12.58%and then decreased to 10.49%.The thermal performance of KCS-34 is better than that of BKCS under the same exhaust flow of internal combustion engine, and the former is more suitable for the recovery of exhaust waste heat.
