Objective:To investigate the cause of bilirubin reelevation(rebound)after thecessation of phototherapy for neonatal pathological jaundice, and to provide reference for clinical treatment and management. Methods:From January 1,2018 to December 31,2022,a total of 1 013 children diagnosed with pathological jaundice who were hospitalized in the neonatology department of Wuzhou Maternal and Child Health Hospital and received phototherapy were collected.Among them,152 cases showed rebound of bilirubin after the stop of phototherapy. The reasons were analyzed through medical records and laboratory test results, and the factors with statistical significance in the univariate analysis were included in multiple Logistic regression analysis. Results:The rebound rate of bilirubin after cessation of phototherapy was 15.00%(152/1013)in 152 cases.Unilateral factor analysis showed that the rebound of bilirubin after cessation of phototherapy of neonatal pathological jaundice was related to sex, neonatal ABO hemolysis,G-6PD deficiency and hematopoiesis before phototherapy(P<0.05).However,after multiple Logistic regression analysis, the rebound of bilirubin after the cessation of phototherapy of neonatal pathological jaundice had little correlation with sex. Conclusion:ABO hemolysis and G-6PD deficiency in neonates are closely related to bilirubin rebound after cessation of phototherapy of neonatal pathological jaundice.
