Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum vaspin level and severity, prognosis and inflammatory factors in patients with acute cerebral infarction(ACI).Methods:105 patients with ACI were divided into 3 groups:mild stroke group, moderate stroke group and severe stroke group according to the degree of stroke.Thirty-four healthy persons were selected as control group. The serum levels of vaspin,IL-6,HSCRP and other biochemical IL-6 were measured by Elisa. Results:The levels of vaspin in ACI Group were significantly lower than those in healthy control group, and the levels of IL-6 and HSCRP in ACI Group were significantly higher than those in healthy control group(P<0.01),the levels of Vaspin in moderate stroke group were lower than those in mild stroke group, and the levels of IL-6 and HSCRP in moderate stroke group were higher than those in mild stroke group(P<0.01),in ACI Group, serum vaspin was negatively correlated with FBG,FINS,HOMA-IR,TG,LDL-C,IL-6,HSCRP(R=-0.409,-0.341,-0.305,-0.286,-0.357,-0.415,-0.388,P<0.05),and positively correlated with BMI and HDL-C,the R values were(0.459,0.375,P<0.05),and had no correlation with age,BSP and HSP(P>0.05).Conclusion:The serum level of vaspin is decreased in patients with ACI,and it is correlated with the degree of stroke, the prognosis, the expression of IL-6 and HSCRP.Vaspin can be used to judge the severity of the disease and evaluate the prognosis.
