EFFECT OF CLIMEN ON SERUM ANTI-MULLERIAN HORMONE IN PATIENTS WITH PREMATURE OVARIAN INSUFFICIENCY AND ITS CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE
Objective To investigate the effect of Climen on serum anti mullerian hormone (AMH) in patients with premature ovarian insufficiency. Methods A total of 100 patients who were diagnosed with premature ovarian insufficiency were enrolled, among whom 49 without a motive for childbearing were enrolled as control group and 51 with a motive for childbearing were enrolled as study group. The patients in the control group were given oryzanol and vitamin B6,and those in the study group were given Climen. The two groups were compared in terms of total Kupperman Menopausal Index (KPI) score, endometrial thickness, and serum levels of AMH,follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH),and estradiol (E2).Results The control group had a significant reduction in total KMI score after treatment (t=3.361,P<0.05),but there was no significant change in endometrial thickness after treatment (P>0.05).The study group had a significant reduction in total KMI score (t =30.243,P<0.01) and a significant increase in endometrial thickness (t =4.153,P<0.05) after treatment, and there were significant differences in KMI total score and endometrial thickness after treatment between the two groups (t =3.417,3.645;P <0.05).The control group showed no significant changes in the serum levels of AMH,FSH,LH,and E2 after treatment (P >0.05);the study group had significant reductions in the serum levels of FSH and LH and a significant increase in E2 after treatment (t=3.468-5.353,P<0.05),while there was no significant change in serum AMH level (P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the study group had significantly lower serum levels of FSH and LH and a significant higher level of E2 after treatment (t =3.513-5.576,P<0.05),while there was no significant difference in serum AMH level between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion AMH is independent of the hypothalamic pituitary-ovarian axis and can be used as an index for evaluating ovarian reserve function during the treatment of premature ovarian insufficiency with Climen.
