Analysis of the results of colorectal cancer screening in the urban workers'medical insurance early diagnosis and early treatment project in Jinan Central Hospital from 2019 to 2023
Objective To evaluate the results of colorectal cancer screening among employees insured by medical insurance in Jinan Central Hospital,Shandong Province,and to provide a reference for evaluating and improving the current color-ectal cancer screening model.Methods From October 1,2019 to June 30,2023,urban employees insured by medical in-surance who underwent colorectal cancer screening in Jinan Central Hospital were selected as the research objects.Chi-square test was used to analyze the participation and screening results of different sex and age groups.Results This study included a total of 13 607 urban employee medical insurance participants who underwent colorectal cancer screening at Ji-nan Central Hospital.A cancer risk factor survey was conducted,and a total of 6 713 high-risk colorectal cancer patients were identified.Among them,2 257 completed colonoscopy screening,the colonoscopy screening participation rate was 33.62%,the detection rate of colorectal cancer was 1.51%,the detection rate of precancerous lesions was 12.18%,and the early diagnosis rate was 93.20%.In terms of gender differences,there was no significant difference in the use of screening techniques between different genders(x2=1.084,P=0.298).There was a statistically significant difference in the use of biopsy techniques(x2=28.537,P<0.001),with significantly more males than females.There was no signifi-cant difference in the use of staining techniques by age(x2=7.033,P=0.318).There was a statistically significant difference in the use of biopsy techniques(x2=15.762,P=0.015),with a higher number of biopsies performed in the age group of>60-65 years and a lower number in the age group of ≥45-50 years.Conclusions There is a certain im-balance in the gender and age of colorectal cancer screening in high-risk groups,and the participation rate of males and workers>60 years old is not high.Measures should be taken to continue to improve the participation rate of colorectal cancer screening among the employees of Jinan medical insurance,so as to obtain better screening benefits for the early di-agnosis and early treatment of cancer.
