Role of long intergenic non-coding RNA 00511 in human malignant tumors of the digestive system
Objective To analyze the role and mechanisms of LINC00511 in the development of digestive system malignant tumors,in order to suggest its potential as a novel biomarker and therapeutic target. Methods We searched relevant lit-erature from January 2017 to February 2023 in the PubMed and CNKI databases with the keywords of"LINC00511,long non-coding RNA,digestive system cancer, tongue squamous carcinoma, esophagus cancer, gastric cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, pancreatic cancer, colorectal cancer".Inclusion criteria:(1)the role and mechanisms of LINC00511 in diges-tive malignant tumors;(2)the application of LINC00511 in the prevention and treatment of digestive malignant tumors.Exclusion criteria:(1)studies with incomplete experimental design;(2)review article;(3)duplicate literature.A total of 44 papers were included in the literature. Results The study demonstrates that LINC00511 is abnormally highly ex-pressed in malignant tumors of the digestive system, and in some tumors, the degree of its expression is correlated with clinical stage and prognosis. The abnormal increase of LINC00511 can improve the proliferation, migration and invasion ability of cancer cells, and the malignant biological behaviors of cells will be suppressed after silencing LINC00511.Con-clusion LINC00511 is closely related to malignant phenotypes of various digestive system malignant tumors and is expec-ted to play a role as a molecular target in tumor therapy.
