This paper examines the language life in the field of ethnic education in Guizhou from two dimensions:macro language life and micro language life.It involves exploring key issues such as lan-guage life and language concepts in basic education,language life and language cultural inheritance and protection in higher education,and language life and language ability in vocational education.Sug-gestions for language planning in the field of ethnic education in Guizhou Province are proposed from four aspects:following policy guidelines,respecting practical needs,following language rules,and ad-hering to language norms.
