As China gradually becomes an important participant in the global economic order,the de-mand for English professionals from the country and various sectors of society is increasing.As the cra-dle of English talents,universities must innovate in teaching modes and ideas.This paper believes that improving the quality of courses through precision should be driven by output,and centered on themes to promote student literacy.Open classroom design should be created with online and offline output tasks,and evaluation mechanisms should be improved to ensure scientific,objective,and comprehen-sive evaluation.At the same time,teacher team building should be strengthened to enhance value guid-ance and educational effectiveness,in order to effectively respond to the challenge of"separation of learning and application"in traditional college English teaching,and cultivate students to become composite talents that promote national prosperity and social development.
