From Inter-embedding to Integration:Yunnan's Practice of Consolidating the Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation and Social Construction of Ethnic Mutual Inter-embedding
In the context of the Chinese path to modernization process,as an important space for con-solidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation,the ethnic inter-embedding society is not only the social basis for further consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation,but also an important way to promote the harmony and stability of the border society,with dual values.This pa-per takes the construction of ethnic inter-embedding communities as the research perspective,and takes Mohan port,Yunnan as a case study.Through investigation,it is found that the multi-ethnic ar-eas in Yunnan province have gradually transformed from spatial,economic,and cultural interlocking to a multidimensional symbiotic and integrated multi-ethnic social community in the border areas,pres-enting a path from inter-embedding to integration.In terms of spatial dimension,the construction of infrastructure for promoting border development and enriching the people has enhanced the geograph-ical connectivity and social integration of the border areas.In terms of economic dimension,industrial development and sharing economy models have enhanced the economic resilience and dependence of communities.At aspects of cultural dimension,festival activities and inter ethnic marriage promote the cultural infiltration and integration of multiple ethnic groups,and strengthen the stability of social or-der.The practice of building an ethnic inter-embedding society in Yunnan reveals the internal mech-anism of further consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation,and provides a new per-spective for national unity and border social stability in the construction of Chinese path to moderniza-tion.
