The Stabilizer Effect of Digital Economy on the Development of Commercial Circulation Industry:An Analysis Based on the Perspective of Supply Chain Digitization
This study uses provincial panel data from 2011 to 2022 in China to conduct an in-depth analysis of the impact of the digital economy on the development of the commercial circulation industry and its underlying mechanisms.The research results indicate that the digital economy plays a stabili-zing role in the development of the commercial circulation industry.From the perspective of the mecha-nism of action,supply chain digitization is a key driving force for promoting the stable development of the digital economy and commercial circulation industry,and is manifested as a partial intermediary effect.From a heterogeneity perspective,the impact of the digital economy on the commercial circula-tion industry shows a decreasing trend from east to west.From the perspective of threshold effect analy-sis,when the digital economy is used as a threshold variable,there exists a single threshold effect,that is,as the level of the digital economy gradually increases,the digital economy can improve the efficien-cy and competitiveness of the commercial circulation industry.Finally,this paper proposes relevant suggestions on optimizing policy support,strengthening digital security guarantees,expanding digital payment channels,building digital marketing platforms,and promoting data sharing and openness.
