Types of Internet Use and Youth Group's Expectations of Future Class
The youth group is the main body of internet use and the main force of future Social class mobility.Hence,it is necessary to explore how internet use impact youth group's expectations of future social class and confidence in class mobility.Using the method of latent class analysis,this study finds that there are three main types of internet use among contemporary youth group,namely type of basic use,type of developmental use and type of all-round use.There exists correlation between these three types of internet use and youth group's expectations of future class.Compared with youth group with type of basic use,the youth group with type of developmental use and type of all-around use of internet would present higher expectations of future class and more confidence in class mobility.These research results indicate that balanced and diverse internet use is conductive to cultivating youth group's more positive social mentality.
