Perception of Social Discrimination,Sense of Social Fairness and the Youth's Fertility Intention
Based on the relevant data from"Chinese Social Survey",this article tries to empirically analyze the impacts of perception of social discrimination and sense of social fairness on youth's fertility intention and its mechanisms.According to the findings, the overall perception of social discrimination, perception of gender discrimination and perception of age discrimination would exert overall inhibitory effects on high fertility intention, and exert mediating impacts on fertility intention through sense of social fairness;however, the sense of social fairness would exert masking effects between several perceptions(perception of household registration discrimination, perception of occupational discrimination, perception of family background and social relations discrimination)and fertility intention.Based on these findings,we should strive to reduce social discrimination and enhance social fairness, and promote the construction of childbearing-friendly society.
